The Mississippi Department of Transportation will hold a job fair at its Batesville office at 150 Highway 51 North on Tuesday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the agency said.
MDOT said it is recruiting Transportation Infrastructure Maintenance Technicians and Transportation Engineering Technicians for Coahoma, DeSoto, Panola, Quitman and Tate counties.
The agency said applicants must be 18 or older and must have a driver’s license and a Social Security card. MDOT said attendees may be offered on-site interviews and that same-day drug testing, if applicable, and background checks will be conducted.
