MDOT to host public meeting on U.S. 80 intersection improvements in Brandon

The Mississippi Department of Transportation will host an open forum on proposed intersection improvements along U.S. 80 in Brandon, Miss., the agency said. The project covers the corridor from east of E Mark Drive to Felicity Street, MDOT said.

The meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the Brandon Civic Center, 1000 Municipal Drive, MDOT said. The agency described the session as a come-and-go format where the public can view the conceptual design, speak with MDOT representatives and provide feedback.

MDOT said project meeting materials will be posted on its website beginning April 1. Comment forms will be accepted until 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, and the department said members of the public can visit its website for information on submitting input if they cannot attend the meeting.
