MDOT urges drivers to use traffic app ahead of Hal’s St. Paddy’s event in Jackson

MDOT urged drivers heading to Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival in Jackson this weekend to use its traffic tools to avoid congestion, the agency said.

The agency pointed motorists to the MDOT Traffic app and MDOTtraffic.com for route planning and up-to-date road conditions, MDOT said.

MDOT said the resources are intended to help drivers “catch the action, not the congestion.”

MDOT’s social media post also included the greeting “Sláinte, y’all!” and the hashtags #MShwys and #LuckOfTheIrish, the agency said.
