The Mississippi Department of Transportation urged fans on social media to download its MDOT Traffic app ahead of the weekend SEC baseball series between Ole Miss and Mississippi State, the agency said.
MDOT said the app is the “ultimate game plan to get you to first pitch safely and on time,” according to the post.
The agency named Swayze Field in Oxford as the destination for the weekend matchup between the Rebels and the Bulldogs, and encouraged motorists to plan their trips accordingly, MDOT said.
The social media post included hashtags referencing the teams and conference, including #MShwys, #HottyToddy, #HailState and #SECbaseball, the department said.
