A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for much of the Mid-South as a winter storm brings additional winter precipitation and frigid temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory warns of wind chills ranging from 10 degrees below zero to 10 degrees above zero. Residents are advised to take precautions against the cold and to prepare for hazardous conditions.
