Mississippi agency rolls out text tool to help clients track benefits
The Mississippi Department of Human Services said it has partnered with the Promise company to launch a new text messaging tool to help clients manage benefits.
The department said the tool will let clients track work requirements, monitor recertification deadlines and upload documents directly from their phones.
Messages will come from 769-210-8724, the department said, and recipients were asked to save that number.
The department said the service is intended to make staying connected and managing program requirements more convenient for clients.
