State Auditor Shad White said Mississippi could lower car tag fees and provide relief to taxpayers if state leaders get serious about cutting waste in government, he said.
White said, “cutting government waste could ease that burden of car tag fees.”
The auditor framed reduced government waste as a pathway to easing taxpayers’ burdens, White said.
