The Mississippi Office of the State Auditor said it has posted an OSA Academy video series on YouTube to help local elected officials follow the law when handling tax dollars.
The office said the videos cover the budget process, local government accounting, municipal law and internal controls.
The office said any elected official or citizen interested in learning proper procedures for local government can watch the videos on its YouTube page.
The Office of the State Auditor encouraged viewers to share the videos with friends, family and the public, saying they are a resource for those working with public funds.
