Mississippi law enforcement officials arrested two people and seized more than $1 million worth of narcotics during a raid in Jackson and Brandon on Feb. 5, 2026, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, with assistance from the Capitol Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, and Jackson Police Department, served search warrants at two residences in Jackson and one in Brandon. Authorities detained Sean Antonio King, 49, and Latonya Hopson King, 50.
Agents identified Sean King as a suspected multi-drug distributor operating in the region. The operation recovered approximately 146 pounds of methamphetamine, 7 pounds of fentanyl powder, 65,000 fentanyl pills, 2.2 ounces of crack cocaine, and 4.4 pounds of powder cocaine. They also seized six firearms, including two rifles and four pistols, three vehicles, two Rolex watches valued at about $42,000, and $23,299 in cash.
