Mississippi Bureau of Investigation Holds Second Annual Assembly
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation brought together agents from across the state for its 2nd Annual General Assembly. The event highlighted updates from regional Major, Crime Scene Unit, and Special Operations Group leaders.
Officials emphasized the ongoing dedication and work of MBI staff in supporting public safety in Mississippi. The assembly also recognized outstanding personnel with awards.
This year’s award recipients included Tammy Black of MBI VAC, named Support Staff of the Year, and Norman Harris of MBI District 1 and the FBI Civil Rights Task Force, named Special Agent of the Year, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
The department expressed appreciation for all MBI members’ commitment, professionalism, and service to the state.
