The Mississippi Department of Public Safety will close its offices, including all Driver Service Bureaus, on Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The offices will reopen on Jan. 20. The department thanked staff working through the holiday to help keep the state safe.
All services are expected to resume as usual the following day, according to department officials.
