The Mississippi Department of Public Safety extended holiday greetings to residents on Presidents’ Day, urging safety during the observance.
The department also expressed gratitude to law enforcement officers and first responders who are working through the holiday to keep the state safe, according to a news release.
Officials encouraged residents to celebrate responsibly and remember the efforts of those serving on the holiday.
