Mississippi Emergency Management Agency Prepares for Winter Storm

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is working with partners and county emergency management offices statewide to prepare for an approaching winter storm, according to a news release.

Officials are supporting counties to ensure they have necessary resources, including blankets and cots. A video shows MEMA delivering supplies to Washington County as part of these efforts.

The agency urges residents to take precautions, care for neighbors and friends, and stay safe during the storm. MEMA encourages community cooperation as preparations continue.
