Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that Lt. Stewart was seen on Interstate 269 near the Desoto and Marshall County line amid rainy weather conditions.
Authorities advise drivers to pay close attention to road conditions and exercise caution while driving in wet weather.
Motorists are encouraged to stay safe and avoid unnecessary risks during rainy days, the patrol said.
