As of 8:30 a.m. January 27, the Mississippi Department of Transportation reports ice on roads and bridges in 36 counties. The affected areas include Alcorn, Benton, Bolivar, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Claiborne, Coahoma, Copiah, DeSoto, Grenada, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Itawamba, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lee, Leflore, Marshall, Monroe, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union, Warren, Washington, Yalobusha, and Yazoo.
