Mississippi Trooper Struck by Driver in Construction Zone

A Mississippi State Trooper was involved in a rear-end collision in Jones County after a driver failed to slow down and move over in a construction zone, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

The trooper’s vehicle was stationary with blue lights activated to warn motorists. The driver of another vehicle struck the patrol car, officials said.
