Mississippi welcomes new Terminal Agency Coordinators
Several individuals have completed training as Terminal Agency Coordinators, or TACs, in Mississippi. TACs are responsible for maintaining compliance, security, and access to CJIS and NCIC systems, supporting law enforcement and emergency services throughout the state, according to officials.
The recent class included representatives from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Newton County E911, Neshoba County E911, Starkville Police Department, and Mound Bayou Police Department. The training aims to enhance public safety by ensuring proper system access and security protocols are followed.
Officials expressed appreciation for the dedication of the new TACs and their role in strengthening law enforcement and emergency response efforts statewide.
