More volunteers needed after Tippah County debris cleanup, organizers say

Volunteers turned out Saturday for a Tippah County debris cleanup, but the need for more help remains, Ripley Main Street said in a post.

The organization said it hoped the volunteers “made a dent” but that many residents still need assistance.

Ripley Main Street urged churches, civic groups and individuals looking to help to get involved. The post said organizers can connect volunteers with people who need work done.

Those interested in volunteering were asked to call 662-512-0226, the post said.
