NEMCC Closes Campuses for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

North East Mississippi Community College closed all campuses Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to a news release.

The college will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m., the release said.

King’s quote, “Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education,” was highlighted in the announcement as a reminder of the significance of the day.

Students and staff are advised to plan accordingly for the campus closures.
