NEMCC student earns high school equivalency diploma, enrolls in pre-nursing

Hailey Hollimon earned a high school equivalency diploma and has enrolled at Northeast Mississippi Community College to pursue a pre-nursing major, the college’s Adult Education program said in a social media post.

The program identified Hollimon as a student in Booneville and described her journey as reflecting perseverance, determination and hard work.

The post said Hollimon’s story serves as an example that it is never too late to reach educational goals and congratulated her on the achievement.

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Adult Education program posted photos celebrating Hollimon and included hashtags promoting adult education and workforce development, the post said.
