NWS office in Jackson issues marginal severe-storm risk April 4-5

The National Weather Service office in Jackson issued a marginal risk for severe storms for parts of the state Saturday afternoon into early Sunday, April 4-5, 2026, the agency said.

The agency said the main threats are damaging winds and quarter-sized hail.
