NWS: Temperatures about 20 degrees below normal Tuesday

The National Weather Service said temperatures will average about 20 degrees below normal Tuesday, making it the coldest day of the week.

After a cold start Tuesday, the agency said temperatures are expected to warm significantly Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service warned that moderate humidity will return, supporting showers and a few thunderstorms Wednesday night and Thursday.
