Organizers announced a debris cleanup day in Tippah County on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help elderly residents clear debris from their yards, organizers said.
Organizers asked local churches, youth groups and ministry teams to partner in the effort. They said the work is intended to support residents who may be unable to do the work themselves.
Interested congregations were asked to comment on the announcement or send a message to sign up, organizers said.
Organizers also asked people to spread the word by sharing the post, tagging churches or suggesting congregations to contact.
