Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Tupelo Crash, Police Say

A pedestrian was seriously injured when struck by a vehicle on North Gloster Street near Woody’s, the Tupelo Police Department said.

The pedestrian, an adult, was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center for treatment, the department said.

The driver remained at the scene and officers were on site, the department said.

The Tupelo Police Department urged motorists to avoid the area and use caution while officers worked, the department said.
