The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued an updated forecast for the weekend, indicating widespread rainfall starting Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday morning.
Showers are expected to become more widespread Saturday evening and persist through mid-morning Sunday, according to the agency.
By late Sunday night, rainfall totals are projected to range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches, potentially impacting outdoor plans and causing localized flooding.
