The Mississippi Department of Transportation said the Interstate 59 south exit ramp to U.S. 49 south toward Hattiesburg (Exit 67A) and the U.S. 49 south entrance ramp to Interstate 59 south in Forrest County will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 10.
MDOT said the closures are part of work associated with an interstate resurfacing project. Motorists were urged to be alert for roadside workers and to seek alternate routes, the agency said.

Drivers should follow posted signs and directions from crews and plan for delays during the closure, the department said.
