Ripley Reports Progress on Utility Services Amid Restoration Efforts
Ripley city officials provided an update on utility services Tuesday, noting progress in restoring water and gas supplies. Currently, six of eight wells are operational, with two having full electrical power restored, according to the city.
Officials urged residents who have had water services restored to conserve water to help the system rebuild pressure. “If you have your water services restored, please conserve all you can to help the system build pressure,” they said.
The city also reported that gas services are fully operational. Department heads and crews are working tirelessly to restore utilities to full capacity, officials said. “It’s easier said than done and under the circumstances we are ahead,” they added.
City leaders expressed gratitude for the ongoing efforts and encouraged residents to remain patient. “God bless everyone, hang in there and we’re here if you need us,” they said.
