Ripley Water officials have issued a boil water notice for all customers in the area. The advisory remains in effect until further notice, pending the completion of testing and safety assessments.
The notice was issued due to possible contamination concerns, according to a statement from Ripley Water authorities. Residents are advised to boil tap water for at least one minute before use for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.
Officials have not specified when the advisory might be lifted but said they will provide updates as more information becomes available. Customers are encouraged to visit the company’s website or contact customer service for additional guidance.
