The Russell Mt. Gilead Road bridge over I-20/59 in Meridian will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, March 20, until 6 a.m. Monday, March 23, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
MDOT said the closure is necessary for end wall replacement, removal and replacement of bridge joints, and an overlay of the bridge deck.
The work will take place in Lauderdale County. Officials did not list detours in the advisory.
