Severe storms with large hail move across north Mississippi, radar says

A radar update issued at 7:50 p.m. Feb. 26 said multiple strong to severe thunderstorms were moving across north Mississippi.

The update said the primary threat was large hail greater than 1 inch in diameter, though damaging wind gusts could not be ruled out over the next several hours.

The update asked residents to report any wind damage or hail when it is safe to do so.
