At approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of North Green Street, the Tupelo Police Department said. Officers confirmed shots were fired into an occupied residence, and no injuries were reported, the department said.
The department said a white Dodge Durango with black rims was seen leaving the area.
The investigation remains active, and there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time, the Tupelo Police Department said.
