Slow-moving cold front to bring prolonged severe storms, forecasters say

A slow-moving cold front is expected to swing through mid-morning tomorrow, bringing a prolonged round of severe storms, forecasters said.

Forecasters said one round of stray showers and thunderstorms is likely late tonight into tomorrow morning ahead of the main line.

They said the second round tomorrow will be prolonged because the front is moving slowly.
