Snow continues to spread across the Mid-South, with conditions intensifying overnight, according to weather reports.
Sleet has begun mixing in areas south of a line from Marianna, Arkansas, to Tunica, Mississippi, the National Weather Service said.
Travel is expected to become increasingly difficult as snow and sleet accumulation increase, prompting warnings from authorities to exercise caution during overnight hours.
