State Auditor Shad White Discusses Gulf Coast Restoration Fund Audit on Radio

State Auditor Shad White appeared on the Ricky Matthews Show to discuss his office’s recent audit of the Gulf Coast Restoration Fund, White said.

On the program, White said the auditor’s office reports on how taxpayer dollars are spent. “We tell the truth about how your tax dollars were spent regardless of whether or not it upsets somebody,” White said.

White described that role as central to the office’s work, saying the office will report its findings even when those findings draw criticism, according to his comments on the show.
