The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Capitol Police Crime Scene Unit attended the Larry Summers Career & Technical Center career fair at Yazoo City High School, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a social media post.
The department said students asked thoughtful questions and showed curiosity about forensic work and investigations.
“The future of CSI in Mississippi looks bright,” the post said.
The department added that its mission lives not only in the field but in moments like these, when agencies meet students considering careers in criminal investigations, the post said.
