Organizers invited volunteers, church groups and community members to join a debris cleanup in Tippah County on March 28. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers said.
Participants are asked to bring yard tools to help elderly residents clear debris from their yards, organizers said.
The cleanup is part of the Great American Cleanup, organizers said, and aims to remove debris and improve neighborhood appearance.
Organizers said every helping hand makes a difference and encouraged community members to take part to keep Tippah County clean and beautiful.
