A tornado warning has been issued for Covington, Jefferson Davis, and Simpson counties in Mississippi, the National Weather Service said Monday night.
The warning is in effect until 1:15 a.m. CST. Residents in the affected areas are advised to seek shelter immediately and stay tuned for additional updates.
No injuries or damage reports have been confirmed at this time, and officials continue to monitor the situation.
