Traffic on State Route 14 between Carter Road and Firetower Road in Noxubee County, Mississippi, will be switched onto a detour road at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
MDOT said crews will perform a bridge replacement on the mainline, requiring the traffic shift onto the detour.
The department urged drivers to slow down and follow posted signage and changing traffic conditions, MDOT said.
MDOT posted the advisory in a news release and provided additional information on its website, the agency said.
