Tupelo police thank utility crews for storm response

The Tupelo Police Department has expressed gratitude to Tupelo Water & Light, Tupelo Public Works, Tupelo Park and Recreation, and Tombigbee Electric Power Association for their work during an ice storm.

Crews worked long hours in hazardous conditions to keep essential services operational and to restore normalcy for residents. Officials say their efforts were crucial in maintaining safety and service continuity.

The police department has resumed normal operations and is now responding to routine calls for service. The department also thanked the community for their patience and cooperation during the severe weather event.
