The Mississippi Department of Transportation said ramps from U.S. 11 to U.S. 49 South and both directions of U.S. 49 between West Pine Street and Country Club Road in Forrest County will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
MDOT said the closures begin Monday, March 23, and will run through Friday, April 24. The work is being performed by Norfolk Southern to repair a railroad trestle, MDOT said.
Detour signage will be in place, MDOT said, and motorists were advised to seek alternate routes. MDOT posted maps and additional information on its traffic website, the agency said.
