Vehicle strikes pedestrian on N. Gloster Street; person taken to hospital

Police said they were on the scene of a vehicle-pedestrian crash on N. Gloster Street near McCullough Boulevard.

An adult pedestrian sustained injuries and was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center for treatment, police said.

Police urged drivers to use caution and consider alternate routes while emergency personnel worked the scene.

Police said additional information may be released as it becomes available.
