The vernal equinox marked the start of spring in the Mid-South, and a regional post said residents can expect warm, sunny conditions to celebrate the season.
The post said highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s with plenty of sunshine.
It noted the vernal equinox is one of two days each year when most latitudes receive nearly equal amounts of daylight and darkness, the post said.
