The winter storm and ice storm warnings issued for all local counties have been officially canceled, according to weather authorities. Accumulating winter precipitation has ended, and roads are becoming safer for travel.
Despite the end of the storm warnings, bitter cold temperatures are expected to persist into next week, officials warned. Residents are advised to continue taking precautions against the cold.
