Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi named among Healthgrades’ Best 250
Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, was named one of Healthgrades’ Best 250 Hospitals for 2026, placing the hospital among the top 5% in the country for clinical excellence, Healthgrades said.
The designation marks the second consecutive year the hospital has appeared on the list. Healthgrades said its 2025 and 2026 lists included Baptist North Mississippi as the only hospital from Mississippi.
Healthgrades said it evaluated about 4,500 hospitals on 31 conditions and procedures, including heart attacks and total knee replacement, using clinical outcomes from 2023 through 2025. The company said hospitals could not opt in or submit their own data.
Healthgrades also included Baptist North Mississippi on its lists of Best 100 Hospitals for Critical Care and Pulmonary Care Excellence, the company said. Baptist North Mississippi said it has 217 beds and offers services including cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, home care hospice and a 24-hour emergency department. The hospital said it moved into a new 600,000-square-foot facility in 2017 to expand services.
