Blue Springs woman charged in murder of Booneville man
A shooting death on Monday morning has led to a murder charge against a Blue Springs woman on Tuesday according to Union County law enforcement.
Sheriff Jimmy Edwards said that someone shot Nathan Knight, 31, of Booneville, in the chest on County Road 171 in Alpine and Coroner Pam Boman pronounced Knight dead at 10:20 a.m.
Three people were arrested and 30 year old April Rodgers of Blue Springs has been charged with the murder.
Rodgers will face multiple other charges as will the others arrested.
Rodgers will be charged with drug, gun and child endangerment charges.
A toddler was at the scene where the murder occured.
No word yet on bond or charges on the others arrested.
