Commissioner Brown Provides an Update on the Holly Springs Utility Department

According to Chris Brown Mississippi Public Service Commissioner Northern District:

Chris Brown, the Mississippi Public Service Commissioner for the Northern District, has provided a public update on the ongoing situation with the Holly Springs Utility Department (HSUD). In accordance with Senate Bill 2453, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has appointed Silverpoint Consulting to conduct an inquiry into the HSUD’s electric service provisions.

Commissioner Brown expressed his commitment to resolving the issue, stating, “My team and I understand that this is a crisis negatively affecting the lives of hardwork Mississippians, and we are dedicated to working to reach a resolution.”
