President Donald Trump closed the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on Thursday, urging attendees to pledge to vote in November, he said.
“Please raise your right hand,” Trump told a stadium packed with his supporters, according to remarks included in the event coverage.
He added, “I pledge to the greatest president in the history…” in remarks that were reported from the event.
The request drew some laughter from the crowd as Trump sought to rally supporters ahead of the November midterm elections, according to the event reporting.
