Lee County Sheriff Requests Public Assistance in Vehicle Burglary Investigation
On July 9, 2024, Lee County Sheriff’s Department received a report regarding the burglary of a vehicle from a business situated on the west side of Lee County. According to Sheriff Jim H. Johnson, a battery was reported stolen from one of the vehicles at the premises.
During the course of their investigation, authorities managed to recover surveillance footage capturing two suspects on an ATV at the business property around the time of the burglary and theft.
“We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals seen in the video,” Sheriff Johnson stated.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Department has released images from the surveillance video and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
