MISSISSIPPI BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION ISSUES ALERT FOR ESCAPED INMATES

Authorities have issued a statewide alert for two individuals who have escaped from the Claiborne County Detention Center. According to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Tyrekennel Collins and Dezarrious Johnson are currently on the run and are considered armed and dangerous.

Law enforcement officials urge the public not to approach the escaped inmates if spotted. Instead, individuals are instructed to immediately contact 911 or the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office at (601) 437-5161.
