Gulf odds reach 90% as Saturday flood threat emerges
The National Hurricane Center’s 7 a.m. outlook gives Gulf disturbance AL92 a 90% formation chance, and the National Weather Service in Jackson has added a Saturday Level 1 flash-flood outlook with 2–4 inches of rain possible. A small-craft advisory is in effect for Mississippi Sound until Friday morning.

Southaven police: missing teen and baby found safe
Southaven police said Tuesday afternoon that 17-year-old Shana Warren and her 11-month-old son Jacob were safely located after an Oct. 3 missing alert. The department gave no details on where they were found and thanked the public for its help.
Missouri man arrested by U.S. Marshals on Monroe County child molestation warrant
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested 55-year-old Thomas Hendricks in Missouri on Sept. 10 on a Monroe County felony molestation-of-a-minor warrant. He is being returned to Monroe County, with bond set at $25,000.
